It takes more than a single person to keep a proper beat on the world, so i'm jumping in to inject my own unique view of this crazy world to WorldBeaterS
I'll keep my review brief, episode 1 was exactly what I expected after seeing the teaser commercials. It's a little to clean cut for my taste. I understand that ABC wants the whole family to watch, but that doesn't mean the show needs to be so sterile. The characters seem generic and the cast lacks of diversity. Episode 1 was used to get the team together, but this was done rather quickly and casually. Nobody on the team sticks out, well there is an Asian woman who sticks out only because she is Asian. The team is led by Agent Coulson, who you may remember from the movies, but his dialogue was littered with corny lines. Everyone else on the team is stock. Then there is the villain, oh wait.. there wasn't one, just some guy who is frustrated because he can't find work, so he gets some experimental surgery that turns him into a super human. Interesting enough, I still have a hankering for some soccer. But honestly the MLS doesn't really cut it for me, I wanna see the best players in the world play. You know, the Forlans and Villas of the game. Luckily this year's MLS All-Star game pits the MLS's best against Manchester United, a storied soccer franchise with some of the best players in the world. The MLS roster has just recently been set and includes Landon Donovan, coming off a superb World Cup performance it will be exciting to see what he can do against Man U. Here is the rest of the MLS squad http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/all-star-roster-set-clash-manchester-utd .
Hello World. Its August which means football is just around the corner, which means FANTASY FOOTBALL is just around the corner. I started a nice pay league called "The Arms Race", and my team name is the "7 Nation Army". It's not big money just $25 per team (10 teams), but money usually makes things much more interesting. I have yet to begin my intensive fantasy research but, I think Joseph Addai will have a monster season, I'm talking a career year, over 1100 yards and 10 touchdowns. I have a little over a month to prepare for the draft so I better get on it. Don't worry I'll post the draft results the minute its over and I'll be posting my weekly results every Tuesday morning so be on the look out for that. 7 NATION ARMY! ONWARD TO VICTORY!
